No theme, just a typical workweek. Even before I began blogging I would pick out my wardrobe for the week so mornings are less stressful. If it’s hanging up outside my closet, it’s what I’m wearing; usually with minimal adjustment. I take a sort of capsule approach to each week. I typically pick a pair of pants (Old Navy joggers) to alternate with a dress/skirt.

Maurice’s: Tank & Cardigan / Banana Republic: Belt (came on a dress) /  TOMS: Wedges / Warby Parker: Finch Frames

Sephora Pantone: Café Au Lait, Boa, Café Crème

Banana Republic: Dress / The Limited: Cardigan / Brand Unknown (Gift): Scarf /           TOMS: Wedges

Sephora Pantone (middle): Orchid Haze & Cascade / Sephora Sunbleached Filter (ends): Secret Boudior & Swell

Banana Republic: Cardigan & Blouse / TOMS: Brogues / Brand Unknown (Gift): Necklaces

Sephora Sunbleached Filter: Selfie, Swell, & #tbt

The Limited: Top / Tulle: Sweater Dress / Maurice’s: Large Bauble Bracelet Set & Ring / Unknown Brand (Grandmother’s Jewelry): Small Bauble Bracelet /  Walmart: Tights / TOMS: Brogues

Sephora Sunbleached Filter: Swell & Desert Rose / Sephora Pantone: Mellow Yellow

Usually what happens is I inadvertently pick clothing that all compliment each other. This week was no different. I could switch up the accessories/cardigans/blouses amongst themselves & it still work. That’s what leads me to want to try a real capsule wardrobe, but I’m just not sure it’s right for me. I don’t feel like I own a ton of clothes, but then again I could probably go at least a month without wearing the exact same thing twice. Well, except for work pants. Anyway, the point is a like options. It’s 3months & 25posts in & I’ve worked my way through pretty much all the styling pins I can. Maybe it’s time to explore this capsule idea. Hmm….thoughts?

  1. Nice styles — as always, Cassy. Nice idea, planning the wardrobe. But, I tell you — if I had to go a month without wearing the same thing, I’d be in trouble! I only have two pairs of jeans. 🙂
