The Interview OOTD
So a few posts back I believe I said something about keeping some pieces that may not make the everyday cut, but are good for special occasions/important meetings/interviews. At the time that seemed pretty reasonable. It still does, however, I’ve been working on my capsule worksheet courtesy of Un-fancy & I thought to myself if I didn’t have those special pieces what would I wear to an interview. I decided to “shop” my current closet & elevate one of my go to looks for an interview.
I started with a go to top/bottom combo: Ellen Tracy Blouse, Maurices Tank, & Old Navy Joggers. In this weather I would probably just go with my TOMS sandals & call it business casual, however, I needed to step it up a notch. So I paired this with my Calvin Klein Booties & Maurices Blazer for a more structured & professional look. I also love that the silver drawstring bling (I wanted to call them aglets, but they’re not really aglets) & zippers all coordinate.
I think we can agree that Cher Horowitz would call this one of my most capable looking outfits.

Love the outfit. Never thought a plaid shirt would look so lovely in a formal attire. Thanks for sharing. Do drop by my blog as well : http://styleovercoffee.com 🙂

Thanks! The red plaid blouse is one of my staples. The fabric & cut help make it appropriate 🙂
