Ugh, what a cliché to be writing anything workout related in January, but here I am writing about curating a workout wardrobe. I wouldn’t say being more active is a resolution, but it’s something I’m working towards. After accepting a new career opportunity my schedule has been whacked for the past 3months. In December I started easing back into cardio & yoga. I pulled up my dresser drawer & after tossing all the ratty tatty ill fitting options I realized I had very few items for getting sweaty. Now I’m not one of those gym bunnies, but I do like my personal style to be reflected in my functional workoutwear. There’s science behind feeling confident when you feel good in what you wear. If you feel confident it’s going to positively influence & condition you to stick with it.
I’m thinking my regular wardrobe it pretty stocked so I need to focus on my workout wardrobe plus accessories. I’m in desperate need of a fitbit, thick yoga mat, cool bag, leggings, sweats, tanks, tops, & running sneakers. I’ve been oogling Pinterest in my quest for the best items to make me wanna be my best.*

*I’m apparently really into Nike or Pinterest is cause I sure find a bunch of cute Nike stuff.
I’m a firm believer in looking good in your workout gear! It truly does motivate if you feel like a “million bucks” before you even get started… That said, I’m also a believer in goals, so in the beginning I only allowed my self something new if I stuck with my goals… quite the motivator, since workout gear is so darn cute these days!

If you don’t want to splurge on workout gear straight away: try H&M. I love their workout wear and they always revamp the line this time of year.
