After all the glitzy glam of the Globes I was excited to see so much uniqueness at the SAGs.
I love a Bespoke Menswear look.
Rami Malek is impeccable & interesting.
Evan Rachel Woods’ velvet crush fits like a glove.
Chrissy Teigen is elegant & sultry.
Danielle Brooks plays with shape for bold femininity.
PS The Bride of Frankenstein hair jewelry is a total win.
Sarah Paulson is statuesque in structured simplicity.
Bright Lights, Bright Stripes
Yara Shahidi is electric, Michelle Dockery commanding.
Red Carpet Risk Takers
Bryce Dallas Howard eschews Hollywood hype & wears off the rack that she actually purchases! Revolutionary!
Sofia Vergara breaks away from her usual va-va-voom vixen style for a soft ballerina silhouette. What a breath of fresh air!
Thandie Newton takes flight & fancy in pioneer couture.
Softly, Subtly
Claire Foy takes a plunge blending prim & proper to sheer delight.*
Millie Bobby Brown & Rashida Jones could be Now & Then versions of each other in their flowy Greek Goddess gowns.
Aging Gracefully
These ladies are flawless & not afraid of some texture around those peepers. Confidence is beautiful.
Also I covet Rashida’s grandma glasses. May have to test a clear frame myself.
There were plenty of glitzy gowns which I think will continue to be the trend, but I loved all the interesting choices. I don’t know if it’s because this show airs on a non big4 network or the feeling of community that allowed for more creativity, but I approve!
