Beauty Moon River Mani

Moon River, wider than a mile

I’m crossing you in style some day

Oh, dream maker, you heartbreaker

Wherever you’re goin’, I’m goin’ your way

Falling back on my moon obsession (see this capsule) & feeling particularly inspired by Ms. Golightly,  I gave myself a half moon mani.

I used OPI Breakfast at Tiffany’s & an unnamed dusty purple from The Color Workshop.

I started with a base of this iridescent flecked matte pearl from the OPI Holly Golightly Holiday Collection. It’s very finely textured, goes on smoothly, & it only took 2 coats for optimal coverage.

The Color Workshop doesn’t seem to name their polishes. This is a mini from a 26 piece holiday collection. I very carefully dabbed this over my lunulae & then cleaned it up once dry. It also took a couple coats. Since I don’t think this polish is available in full size or sold separately here are a couple other options.

I’m usually not one for manicures, but I was in need of some pampering. Probably won’t last long. I’m tough on my tips & I’ve been told I have oily nail beds. It’ll be nice while it lasts though.
