Curating/Beauty OOTD&MOTD 29

Crazy this worked out to be 29 for both! This was my anniversary look back in June.

I had my daughter do a tight hairline braid the evening before while I painted Pure Ice Satin Ribbon on my nails. The next morning it had loosened just enough & I tucked up the ends at my knape.

I went for a really lit from within look for my makeup.

I used my regular elf poreless primer then mixed my Clinique even better creamwhip foundation with the last of my Josie Maran illuminator sample. I really love this illuminator. I haven’t purchased a full size yet, but I will be.

  • I did Selfie from my sephora sunbleached filter palette lightly over my lid
  • I blended Pale Mauve from my Pantone Watercolor palette into my crease.
  • I also used this along my lower lashline.
  • I finished off with Cafe Creme in my inner corners & a coat of Benefit They’re Real mascara on my lashes.

I finished off my motd with nars orgasm blush & a pink Clinique lippie that unfortunately has lost its label.

Playing off this lit from within look I had previously decided to wear my new H&M blouse & tassel belt.

For work I paired this with my JLo pant, Toms wedges, Apt9 seamless tank (these tanks are crazy smooth!), & Banana Republic hoops.

For our evening out I decided to change into shorts & flats cause it was fairly warm & my toes were feeling squished. The shorts are Old Navy & I wore my tan scrappy sandals from Maurices.

Of course it really didn’t matter what I wore or how I fixed my face cause we were going to act like a couple of goofballs & have a good time no matter.
