The 80s called, they want their sweater back. Too bad I say, it’s cozy & I’m keeping it.
Also, it’s my daughter’s so when I say the 80s called I really mean my 17y/o doesn’t like it when I consistently “borrow” one piece. My answer stands though.
This grandpa cardigan truly looks like something I would have been mortified that my mother heldover in her closet from the 80s when I was in high school circa 2000. Oh man, though she would have been right, cause this guy is stupid comfy.
I borrowed this guy for our early morning St Louis trip. The weather was rumored to be nasty so I wanted to dress appropriately with a dash of style, hence a concert tee.
Bonus HOTD: I also rocked a messy side bun & braid. I did a somewhat tight braid the night before so when I woke up I could just loosen the braid a bit & go. I think it turned out alright. I’m not much for braiding so sadly (or happily if you’re feeling generous) this is the best braid I’ve probably ever done.

That cream cardigan looks so cozy. I love big chunky knitted cardigans like that. They are so great to keep you warm and a great way to make a statement in one go.
