I’ve got some fun dual looks, but I need to even out my motds with my ootds. My husband & I had a breakfast date a few Sundays ago so I took the opportunity to try out a soft subtle Ginnifer Goodwin look. I love her, isn’t she precious!?
I managed to find some Pinterest tutorials to guide my hand.
Funnily enough the eye look used the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette which I had recently duped here!
Since I don’t own the Too Faced palette it took a myriad of palettes to complete this look, but I’m going to start at the beginning.
This is clean faced, no primer or anything yet. Also, I am aware there’s a shadow. I didn’t realize how much of a shadow until later. Whoops.
This is eyeshadow only. First up the coverage:
- Black Forest Truffle = Crease
- Cherry Cordial = Outer V & Lower Lashline
- Strawberry Bon Bon = Lid
- Champagne Truffle = Inner V
Next up the dupes:
- Black Forest Truffle = Rock Nudes bottom row 5 across
- Cherry Cordial = Sunbleached Filter #tbt with Pantone Watercolor Fruit Dove
- Strawberry Bon Bon = Rose Quartz
- Champagne Truffle = Sunbleached Filter Swan Song
I’ve also done my brows lightly with the Anastasia Brow Wiz. I’m not good at this & I probably need to get them cleaned up, but whatever I try.
This is highlight & contour… before blending, duh. I did primer, foundation, & powder under this. I was going to bust out the matte primer, but forgot so I used the powder to reduce glossiness. The highlight is Benefits Watts Up in Soft Focus & contour from Elf.
This is all blended out with the blush from a Maybelline face contour kit & some spritzes of Wet n Wild Matte Finish Setting Spray. I don’t know if my daughter just got a lemon bottle, but the nozzle gets stuck every spritz!
Finished up with my very own Tarte mascara (no more borrowing!) & Bite Sugarcane lip. I kinda dig the mascara on the lower lashes. I haven’t done that for awhile.
Pretty sweet look!
