Curating Beauty OOTD MOTD 59

With a fresh cut & color to boot!

Just a few weeks ago I took some time to get my first cut* & color since OCTOBER! I knew it would be quite a change so I decided to dress for the inevitable selfie fest following my appointment.

I wanted to do something a little different, a little mermaid-y.

  • Crease & Inner Corner: Cascade from Sephora Pantone Watercolor Palette
  • Lid: Orchid Haze from Sephora Pantone Watercolor Palette
  • Lower Lashline: Dusty Plum from Maybelline Rock Nudes Palette

I was also testing a new foundation, Perfecting from Merle Norman. It’s a buildable liquid foundation, but it doesn’t like my Farsáli Rose Gold Elixir. Idk that I’ll repurchase this exact elixir, but I’ve got plenty left so I hate to go with a product that doesn’t play nice with my other everyday products. Sad. On a happier note I think my Laura Mercier lippie is a sweet pop.

To go with my mermaid-y lewk I debuted my beachy wide leg drawstring pants.

  • The Limited Cardigan
  • H&M Crop Top
  • Maurices Pant & Heeled Sandal

I. Am. In. Love. With. These. Pants.

They will probably get a spotlight post, I’ve been wearing them regularly.

Okay now for the piece de résistance, melted honey poppy locks with BABY BANGS! I haven’t been this excited about my hair in a long time. I always love what J’ne does for me, but this is especially special. Makes me feel spunky.

*I’d had a trim in December, but nothing major.

  1. I haven’t had a hair cut since Christmas 2016! I was desperate to grow out my hair, so I decided to simply quit getting a chop. I hope to last to Christmas this year and then get a good redo.
