Lush Honey I Washed My Hair Shampoo & Sugar Daddy-o Conditioner Bars

I took Maaike up on her suggestion & picked up this honey rich shampoo bar after finishing seanik. I decided to try a conditioner bar that would also be easy on my newly colored blonde hair.

Here’s what Lush says about Honey:

Fair trade honey will moisturize & soften hair without weighing it down, leaving it soft, bouncy, & smelling irresistible.

And about Sugar:

Richness beyond compare, blondes remain bright & classy. Full of luscious linseed infusion, alongside a nourishing lineup of fair trade shea butter & argan oil. A floral bouquet of violet leaf, rose, & bergamot mingles for a seductive fragrance that will last all day.

I’d been getting 3days minimum out of each wash, sometimes able to stretch for 5. This shorter cut is requiring some more upkeep. This is a 3day head of hair.

The How:

Rub between hands or directly onto hair to create a lather. I’ve been liking doing a few swipes across my locks then massaging into a nice lather before rinsing.

The conditioner bar recommends direct application to wet hair after shampooing & massaging through. For some reason I have a hard time telling if I have enough product on my hair before rinsing clean. I think less is probably more, but I’m still trying to figure it out.

The Verdict:

I do love the scent. I mean you saw where I said bergamot, right? It takes that brassiness right away & leaves my hair full of volume. These are definite wins in my book!
