So what do you do when you get used to winning the costume contest every year?
You jump the shark.
We went in a decidedly artistic & bold direction last year with our group costume.
If you’re not exactly sure what’s happening, don’t worry, you weren’t alone. Our inspiration was Roy Lichtenstein pop art girls.
We put a lot of thought into our bubbles. We thought we were pretty clever. I especially enjoyed my big bitch energy.
Unfortunately, my bubble was popped. It was in fact, not in the bag. No prizes this go round.
This is one of my all time favorite Halloween costumes. Our makeup artist, Misty Titzer, is phenomenal! We had a cohesive look with unique twists. I love how va-va-voom-y she made me. Even without the accolades this is the look to beat.
Of course, Halloween is usually a family affair. Lafayette begrudgingly dressed as his namesake.
While my daughter pulled off yet another gender bender character costume perfectly.
