#quadgoals 7

I had planned to do each quad as it’s own post. That gives me a break from coming up with content, but I don’t think it makes for particularly engaging content. What I’ve decided to do instead is show sets of quads that utilize some of the same shades.

We’re going to start on the right & work our way left. I wanted to stay la vie en bleu. I didn’t do the quads in any particular order so it will be interesting to see similarities or differences in how I use the overlapping shades.

This was my first dip into a blue quad way back in August. I started with it because it only had 1blue.

  • Milk Makeup Luminous Blur Stick
  • Neutrogena Rice Protein Powder
  • Nars Orgasm Blush
  • Elf Clear Brow Gel
  • Milk Makeup Kush Mascara
  • Sweet&Shimmer Lip Crayon
  • Elf Setting Spray

I notice with this particular application I don’t always blend enough on that outer v shade. It’s real heavy handed.

However, with my trusty Blairs it’s not as noticeable.

  • Charter Club Blouse
  • Forever21 Dress
  • Toms Cheetah Wedge Booties
  • Banana Republic Bangle
  • Andante Earrings

We’re dropping it down to the bottom quad because that’s the one I used next. I had started using this smokey application & I really liked how it was working.

  • Elf Soothing Primer
  • Clinique Even Better Foundation
  • Neutrogena Rice Protein Powder
  • Nars Orgasm Blush
  • Merle Norman Brow Sculpting Pencil
  • Milk Makeup Kush Mascara
  • Burts Bees Chapstick
  • Elf Setting Spray

These greens & blues really lend themselves to a smokey eye. I especially like that linden is subtly neon.

  • Ann Taylor Loft Blouse
  • Maurices Tanks, Jean, & Sandals

For my third look I happened upon this pin & realized I had some similar shades left to use.

  • Milk Makeup Luminous Blur Stick
  • Clinique Even Better Foundation
  • Neutrogena Rice Protein Powder
  • Nars Orgasm Blush
  • Merle Norman Brow Sculpting Pencil
  • Milk Makeup Kush Mascara
  • Benefit Watts Up Highlight
  • Bite Sugarcane Lipstick
  • Elf Setting Spray

I love this look. The touch of blue is so soft.

OOTD as seen in seasonal blends.

Of these quads the 2nd is probably my favorite. I just love linden. As for an entire ensemble, the 3rd was executed pretty perfectly. With better technique 1 has potential.
